At Lake Tobias Wildlife Park in central Pennsylvania, you can experience the wild with hundreds of animals from around the world. Guided Safari Tours take you over 150 acres of rolling hills with herds of animals and flightless birds. The open-air safari offers you a memory-making chance to hand feed wildlife such as bison, Watusi cattle, yaks and zedonks (a cross between a zebra and a donkey). It’s adventure you can feel!
Take the trail through the newest section of the park to meet Spike and Bakari, our two young reticulated giraffes. Special food to feed them may be purchased at the exhibit, and a staff member will be on hand to answer your questions. These amazing gravity-defying creatures will blow you away.
Adventure also awaits at our zoo exhibits! Encounter the exotic as you stroll among the many wildlife habitats, where you’ll be educated about the interesting and entertaining creatures in front of you. Kids also love the Zoo Babies Exhibit and the Petting Zoo!
A favorite for the thrill-seekers is our Reptiles & Exotics facility, where eye-opening presentations will enlighten you on these fascinating creatures. You can even touch an alligator—if you dare!
Learn how in 1965 a U.S. marine transformed his family farm into a safari park in the new Museum & Education Center, which was named Attraction of the Year by Hershey Harrisburg Regional Visitor’s Bureau. Videos, photos, artifacts and hands-on exhibits tell the story of the making of the park, the founder’s love of wildlife, and conservation efforts we can all make.
With more than 700 animals from six continents, Lake Tobias Wildlife Park is a great place for family fun. Come, join us for a day of wild adventure.
